Sound... the origin of this universe happened presumably through The BIG BANG, Sound is the the source of all creation. It was the Sound that was heard and spoken that created the pardigm shift in us Human beings. Music was not invented or discovered, but rather something innate in us all. We have always used music to entertain ourselves, express, celebrate, used it for leisure, and communication as well.
From the dawn of mankind, Music has been one of the most powerful tools for ceremonies and self integration as well.Even if we are musically inclined or not, it is the one thing that connects all of us humans from all cultures, religions, creeds and religions. We listen when we are in a good or a bad mood to uplift our spirit. We dance to it when we want to have fun. We sing praises and worship our deities with it. It moves us, changes our frequency that we operate from , changes our moods and uplifts our soul. From ancient times, We have also been using music for healing.
Music Is the ultimate therapy for the Soul - Amitabh Sharaha Founder, 1000 Petals.Begin your Inner Journey
Sound healing is a modality in which a facilitator uses all or specific aspects of music and its frequency grids— one can improve their emotional, psychological, spiritual, physical, social, mental, and superficial — to improve the health and well being. Sound healing therapy improves many facets of our life, including emotional and social development, cognitive and motor functioning; It also improves psychological and psychiatric health. Healing with sound happens by having the participant experiencing music by means of relaxing in a lying down position and listening with intent, and allowing the frequencies that induce positive brainwaves and alter our mood. Most of verything we experience in the universe is simply our perception of frequency or waves. When sound frequency reaches our ears, they are converted into electrical code that travels up via the auditory nerve into the auditory cortex. This is the part of the brain that processes sound.
Once sound wave reaches our brain, it triggers a series of responses in our bodies. This response alters our emotions, releases hormones and chemicals that affect both our bodies and our moods, and triggers an emotional impulse. There is some research based evidence to suggest that musicians have different brains than those who are not musically inclined. Research also has shown that the brains of musicians are more symmetrical and that the parts of the brain that are responsible for motor and cognitive functioning, coordination, reasoning, as well as the processing of information, are significantly larger. The two hemispheres of the brain have better communication thanks to an enlarged corpus callosum, as well.
This is because a sound Healing session floods our brains with dopamine — the happy chemical. It may releases oxytocin, a natural painkiller and hormone that allows us to bond with and trust people. Sound Healing also helps language development and improves communication. It has been shown to increase our IQs ever so slightly, so it’s safe to say that this amazing modality makes us smarter. It improves our memory and descreases brain disorders such as Alzheimer’s and dementia. Sound healing is so powerful, It can change our brains, and so it changes our bodies.Explore this powerful technology with our Master facilitators in Mumbai and Bangalore
I walked into 1000 Petals with a heavy heart, but haven't looked back since then. This is not your average meditation centre but rather a space that offers comfort and peace of mind! I highly recommend their workshops/ flotation tank experience to anyone in need of a soul seeking experience!
1000 petals is totally worth your time. Floatation and Lucia once a week would definitely help your mind to find the path to its centre. The first time could be a glimpse of centre for your mind but regularity of the sessions can help you to stay there for a longer period.
Everyone should experience Lucia Light No.3 and the Floatation Tank once in it's lifetime. It has left me spellbounded. Have never experienced anything like this in my life before... it's like a virtual reality gadget fixed to your eyes and ears, but actually, there's no gadget, but the movie or the figures appear in your head which we can see... and the Floatation Tank leaves you with a very unique experience, like we were in space, in darkness, in zero gravity !
